Course Description

This Certified 5-day course provides in-depth coverage of Linux system administration. Candidates will learn how to install, maintain and administer a Linux system. The Course consists of 5 days intensive training.

  1. Hardware configuration
  2. Software management using source code and package managers
  3. The X server architecture
  4. Understand the file system layout (the File System Hierarchy Standard)
  5. Process text files effectively
  6. Manage processes effectively
  7. Manage disks and file systems (including quotas)

Who Needs to Attend

System Administrators who are interested in gaining in depth knowledge of how to administer a Linux server. Users that are interested in obtaining a Linux Professional Institute Certification (LPI 101). Note: LPI 101 exam sold separately.
